I’m a comedian by trade who blends elements of music and standup comedy together in a style that can be best described as “music blended with standup comedy”. The bulk of my comedy career has been spent as the opening act for a plethora of show-business luminaries including Rodney Dangerfield (who “discovered” me), Joan Rivers, Garry Shandling, Tom Jones and George Carlin, with whom I am still touring as far as I know. I am also a singer/songwriter (in the proud tradition of Billy Joel, James Taylor and several members of the Brady Bunch), having written “Ordinary Man” for the “Easy Money” soundtrack and also “Rappin’ Rodney” for the man himself. Even so, I promise to continue to doggedly and relentlessly savage the music industry in my comedy routines, until the day I am famous enough to do a parody of one of my own songs that is so disrespectful and tasteless that I wind up suing myself. “LIVE PERFORMANCE ANXIETY” This CD is my first standup comedy album, also intercut with studio recordings.
